Our team aims to introduce the best safe innovative technologies and are always expanding our range of advanced clinical and cosmetic equipment including broad-band light (BBL), heat based therapies (Tixel 2), LED light therapy, plasma therapies, radio frequency devices, collagen induction therapy (microneedling), and a range of cosmeceutical skincare.

Lisa is our new Registered Nurse with over 20 years of clinical experience working in both the public and private hospital and community settings. After graduating from Wollongong University in 2003, she commenced her first year of Nursing at The Prince of Wales Hospital,  Sydney. Since then, she has worked in various areas of healthcare including an incredible 2 year working experience in London, UK. During her career she had the privilege of working as an IVF Nurse for 13 years, gaining invaluable skills in communication and the ability to build long term, trusting and professional relationships with her Patients. 

Driven by her passion for skin health and aesthetics, she completed the 52919WA Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables in 2023. She is now excited to apply her knowledge and training to her role at Dermasurg, using proven treatment modalities to treat skin disease, enhance beauty and improve skin confidence. She enjoys teaching others and strongly believes that Patient education plays an important role in optimising treatment outcomes.

More recently, she worked in a Day Surgery as a Scrub/Scout/Recovery Nurse assisting Surgeon’s in various procedures. With a special interest in skin and aesthetics, she developed a specific appreciation for assisting Plastic Surgeon’s during surgical removal of skin lesions, reconstructions and wound care. 

Her spare time involves entertaining two beautiful children, exploring the Coast, walking her cavoodle and hanging out with some incredible family and friends.

Emily is our dermal clinician and brings a wealth of experience after nine years experience working within the skincare industry.

She has worked with many leading local and national skincare professionals including Melissa Drury at MD Cosmetics and Skin Clinic, Sally Topper of SuperNatural Skincare, The Skin Coaches at Cooroy, and running her own clinic in Pomona for several years before joining us at DermaSurg Skin Clinic.

She hold a deep passion and has extensive experience working with skin conditions including acne, rosacea, sensitive skin, pigmentation, skin rejuvenation and skin nutrition.

She is an expert in skin interventional therapies and is certified in the following therapies: Skin Needling, Hydrafacials, Chemical Peels including heavier peels such as TCA & Jessner, LED light Therapy, Phototherapy and Photodynamic Therapy, IPL.

Sabine assists Dr Bothma with complicated surgeries every Tuesday when taking break from her “real career” as a community care physiotherapist.
